My deep love for portraiture, fashion, and documentary photography has led me to one of life’s greatest privileges - capturing people’s wedding stories. It’s the day you promise forever to your soulmate, surrounded by those you love most. Every time I witness that, it makes my heart sing... what an extraordinary privilege to call a job.

And rest assured, you’re in very safe hands. I was shortlisted for the prestigious International Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize, a recognition that means the world to me as a portrait photographer. One day, I fully intend to see my work hanging on the walls of the National Portrait Gallery in London, but for now, my greatest honour is creating timeless imagery for couples who value authenticity, artistry and emotion.

MY STYLE + APPROACH

After fifteen years behind the lens, my approach to each wedding remains as unique as the people I photograph. Every couple brings their own rhythm, energy and aesthetic... from the quiet grace of an intimate countryside celebration to the grandeur of a five-star affair steeped in elegance. My craft lies in embracing it all - love, beauty, laughter and the fleeting, unscripted moments that make your day unmistakably yours.

My work flows within a gentle framework that mirrors the natural pace of your wedding day. I typically arrive around two and a half hours before the ceremony; allowing time to set the scene and capture the anticipation as your story begins to unfold. From the stillness of your chosen venue to the exciting buzz of morning preparations, I seek out the details and emotions that give your day its unique heartbeat.

Once the ceremony concludes, I step in with a touch of creative direction - guiding guests into a large group photograph followed by the exuberance of confetti! (Always one of my fav moments!!) From there, we refine the focus to your closest circle: grandparents, parents, siblings and the bridal party. I keep these portraits natural and timeless; capturing that spark of excitement that lingers in the air.

And then, it’s time for just the two of you! We’ll slip away for 20 minutes or so, finding beauty in your surroundings and light that flatters like a whispered secret. I’ll gently guide you if required, crafting imagery that feels intimate, emotive and timeless. We'll create photographs that not only reflect your love for each other but wouldn’t look out of place in the pages of a glossy magazine!

Each frame is a blend of instinct and intention - emotive documentary storytelling with an editorial edge. My goal is to give you images that feel alive with emotion, rich in atmosphere, and forever true to you.

FAQs

Securing our wedding date

I receive hundreds of enquiries each year so I work on a first come first served basis. If you decide I'm the photographer for you I require a deposit of £200 to secure your date.

What happens at a pre wedding/engagement shoot

An engagement shoot gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and capture some amazing images to incorporate into your upcoming wedding. It offers you time to become more comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. You can choose a location which is special to you or I can recommend somewhere. We will spend approximately an hour capturing a number of natural portraits as well as some more styled shots you will love. You can expect to receive around 35 - 45 images from your shoot.

What if I don't like having my photo taken

Don't worry most people feel a bit awkward at first but I’ll put you at ease in no time! You can see from my organic style that couples are free to be themselves which is what creates beautiful, natural images.

Do you need to visit the venue

No. I shoot weddings all over the UK; it’s fairly common for me not to see the venue beforehand. I like to arrive early giving myself time to explore the grounds and interiors. I find this enables me to shoot with fresh eyes and produce my most creative work.

How long does it take to receive our wedding photos

I deliver a stunning preview of roughly 100 images within 7 days of your wedding. Your full wedding gallery will be delivered between 5-6 weeks after, depending on how busy my editing schedule is at that time.

How many photos do we receive

The amount of photos you receive is dependent on the number of hours of photography. My Micro collection (4 hrs) captures around 300 pictures while the full day option (8-10 hrs) receives approximately 650+ photographs.

Each image is edited to the highest possible standard. If I feel I can give more than the number listed I always do. Your investment factors in my time spent culling your images to ensure you are given the cream of the crop!

How do I book

I receive all my bookings online to ensure no vital details are missed. Click one of the 'ENQUIRE NOW' buttons and you'll be taken to a contact form where you can supply all your details. Once we've had a zoom call and you're still eager to book I'll send you all the info you need via my client booking system. Do you sell wedding albums

I offer an exceptional album design service where I collaborate with Folio Albums. The collection of luxury wedding albums and professional photo books are designed with photographers in mind, offering unparalleled high quality that you will treasure. The range of premium albums are made in the UK, handcrafted in our Yorkshire workshop using archival inks, museum-grade papers and a range of beautifully curated covers to personalise. Not only is this an outstanding eco-supplier but they're UK based too so no unnecessary carbon footprints. As an Eco conscious supplier myself I pride my business on its sustainability and eco-friendly practices so partnering with likeminded companies is very important to me.

Do you have back up equipment

Yes, as a professional photographer I am equipped for any technical problem – should a camera, lens or SD card stop working I have additional equipment I can use. I bring a case with another camera, lenses, batteries, SD cards and flash lights.

What happens if you are taken ill

It would take a lot to stop me photographing a wedding. If the worse happened, and I couldn’t photograph your wedding, I have a network of fantastic photographers who would capture your day. The photographer's work would be of a similar style and quality to mine and I would edit, and deliver, the service after the wedding day.

Are you insured

Absolutely, I hold full public liability and indemnity insurance.
